At Creative Discoveries we believe every child is an individual with his or her own special interests, needs and learning styles. Our goal is to fulfill those needs through first-hand experiences and offer a stimulating and safe environment for exploration. Our integrated (cooperative) parent-teacher-child approach to schooling gives our parents the opportunity to work in the classroom, providing a supportive and caring classroom environment. It is our hope that children coming from Creative Discoveries Preschool feel confident, secure and self-assured as they move on to further school experiences.

We believe play is the child's work and we allow them to guide many of our activities with their ideas. Sometimes a child's idea of beauty, housekeeping, art, construction, etc. does not coincide with adults' and that’s ok! A child's imagination is boundless and wonderful! Children can do wonderful things: paint the wind; dance like a leaf; find joy and happiness in performing simple tasks. These are abilities that adults may have lost along the way. Come visit the world of young children as you volunteer in the classroom and enjoy their enthusiasm for living and learning!
