Discovery time and Pre-K Explorer Teacher

Lisa Houghton brings a wealth of experience to her position as the teacher for the Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten classes at Creative Discoveries. She has worked in co-op preschools for a total of 12 years, first as a parent teacher and then as a teacher, and she has taught at Creative Discoveries since 2006.

Lisa’s teaching experience, broad knowledge, and genuine interest in the lives and development of the children she teaches, nurtures an important period of social growth through imaginative play and interaction. Parents also benefit by seeing how their children respond to a learning environment and to interactions within their peer group

Toddler Time Teacher

Jane Sept has been our Toddler Time teacher at Creative Discoveries since 2001. Jane's own children attended Creative Discoveries Preschool. During that time, she participated in the roles of Co-op President and Parent Teacher. Jane enjoys working with both parents and children and especially likes singing and messy art projects. “Parents often tell me their child asks every day if it's their day to come to school because we have so much fun! We really look forward to our time together."
