The philosophy of Creative
Discoveries Preschool is that children learn through play. We provide a
safe and stimulating environment where children may develop capabilities
in the areas of physical, intellectual, emotional and social growth.
This is accomplished through a developmentally appropriate curriculum
that emphasizes play and building positive self-esteem. We recognize
that every child is an individual with his or her own special interests
and needs. Our goal is to guide the child, offer interest, and fulfill
needs through first-hand experiences. In this way, children are able to
build strong foundations for future learning. We believe in an
integrated parent-teacher-child approach to education. Giving parents
the opportunity to work in the classroom results in a supportive, caring
and nurturing atmosphere for our children's first school experience.

These
activities are their work, their ideas, their fun. Sometimes a
child's idea of decoration, beauty and housekeeping does not coincide
with adults'. A child's imagination is great!! Children can
do wonderful things...paint the wind...dance like a leaf...find joy and
happiness in performing simple tasks. These are abilities that
adults may have lost along the way.
