Developmentally Appropriate Philosophy
At Creative Discoveries we believe every child is an individual with his or her own special interests, needs and learning styles. Our goal is to fulfill
needs through first-hand experiences and offer a stimulating and safe environment for exploration. Our integrated (cooperative) parent-teacher-child approach to schooling gives our parents the opportunity to work in the classroom, providing a supportive and caring classroom environment. It is our hope that children coming from Creative Discoveries Preschool feel confident, secure, and self-assured
as they move on to further school experiences.

Activities at Creative Discoveries Preschool are their work, their ideas, their fun. Sometimes a child's idea of decoration, beauty and housekeeping does not coincide with adults'. A child's imagination is great!! Children can do wonderful things...paint the wind...dance like a leaf...find joy and happiness in performing simple tasks. These are abilities that adults may have lost along the way. Visit the world of young children. Enjoy their enthusiasm for living and learning!
